Measures Day
More exciting activities this week as we have a whole school ‘Measures Day’ on Wednesday. Our teachers have been busy planning some very exciting activities involving weighing scales, water, baking and much more. Collections in School
Thank you to everyone who has contributed to our collections for Flower Park Care home and the Local Food Bank, as you can see our boxes are filling up. We will continue to collect for the rest of this week so please look through your cupboards and drop off anything that is suitable.
Treats for Staff
A big thank you to the Astrea Excecutive team who have supplied our staff with a surprise hamper full of goodies (coffee, biscuits etc). The hamper was well received and much appreciated.
Christmas Cards
As we are approaching Christmas, your child may be thinking about sending Christmas cards. Due to COVID, all teachers will have a box in their classroom for cards to be placed into. We will then put the cards into ‘isolation’ for three days before distributing. Cards can be brought into school from Monday 7th December.
Staff Changes
Sadly, we are saying goodbye to Mrs Rose, our lovely Office Manager as she has taken on a higher position in another Astrea school. Mrs Rose will be leaving us on the 11th December. We wish her lots of happiness in her new role.
