Good morning everyone,
A lovely, crisp start to week 4.
Some of you may be aware that we are now posting much more information and photographs on our Twitter page. We would really like parents to tweet photographs of family activities – this could be walks you have taken, baking, homework, dancing etc… It would be wonderful to share our activities. We would also love for you to add comments to our photographs.

This week we are starting the Y6 after school booster sessions. A letter has been sent to all Y6 parents, which we will need signed and back in school as soon as possible please, so that we can get off to a flying start.
Remember, we are keeping windows open in school for ventilation purposes, so all children will need their jumper. Be assured that we are keeping the heating on.
Can I please remind you that our packed lunches should be healthy ones and not to send your child with fizzy drinks or chocolate bars.
For some really good ideas – including ideas to help if your child is a fussy eater – this website is very informative. https://www.bbcgoodfood.com/howto/guide/healthy-lunches-for-kids
Puffins have once again won the prize for the highest attendance – 90.3% Well done to Puffins, who will be getting an extra playtime this week.
For our children to gain the greatest benefit from their education it is vital that they attend regularly and be at school, on time, every day the school is open, unless the reason for the absence is unavoidable.
Please contact school on the first day of absence.
Enjoy your week,
