First of all, Happy New Year to everyone. It is a very different start to the year than I thought it would be. I would like to thank you all for your understanding and support over the last few days. All staff have responded swiftly to the situation and remote learning is now in place. We have re-sent every child’s log in details for Microsoft Teams, but if you have any issues, please contact your child’s teacher via Seesaw or through Parent App.
Please see below the remote learning guide which includes timetables Remote Learning Parental Guide.
Plan of action:
- Wednesday 6th – Friday 8th January
All children should have received their log in details for Microsoft Teams and Seesaw and initial trials have been held with remote learning starting to take place
2. Monday 11th January onwards
Please visit your class page where you will see your child’s remote learning timetable. We will be monitoring engagement for online learning to ensure all children are keeping up with their school work. We will contact you if we see that your child has not accessed the lessons to check that you are not having any technical difficulties.
The timetable will include daily writing, reading and maths sessions with your child’s class teacher. We will be setting independent work via Seesaw, purple mash, times tables Rockstar’s and Oak Academy.
We will be in contact with you if you have told us you do not have access to a laptop / Ipad’s. Please get in touch if you have any difficulties accessing remote learning, so that we can help you.
It is really important that your child engages with the online sessions to ensure that they do not fall behind with their learning.
Thank you for your continued support,
